Morphology
The killer whale has bilateral symmetry. It has blubber to keep it warm and uses echolocation to find things in the dark ocean. They are about 16 feet long and over 2,000 pounds. Their coloration is countershaded and their unique white patches around the eyes are also a type of disruptive coloration. For swimming they have pectoral and dorsal fins and a fluke.
Their behavior includes breaching and establishing strong social bonds in pods.
